Experiment! You will find that you can create a myriad of new marks and textures.

Here are some techniques to inspire you.

BLOCKING IN

Block in large areas of color in seconds - the Large Oval Art Sponge and Angle Slice Art
Sponges are ideal for this.

BLENDING
Use for blending pastel sticks and PanPastel Colors.

MULTIPLE LOADING:
Load Sofft Tool with two or three colors for striking decorative effects.
Load the palest color first.

PAINTING:
Use Sofft Tools to apply and manipulate paint.

Lift color and apply to surface. Re-charge with color as necessary.

The finished effect is different to a brush, as the signature brush stroke is eliminated.

Try cutting sponges to create your own custom tools.
