Colorfin LLC is devoted to the creation and production
of innovative materials for fine art and craft.
Colorfin was founded with the sole purpose of expanding
the choice of contemporary materials and tools available to artists.
All of Colorfin products begin life in the art studio;
they are developed in the Colorfin laboratory and then
return to the studio for extensive testing to ensure that they offer
high quality and practical materials for today’s artist. Our
aim is not to replace existing materials, but to enhance the process
of making art by offering new materials and stimulating artistic
expression.

Founders
Colorfin co-founders - Ladd Forsline &
Bernadette Ward - are veterans of the art & craft supplies market
- they have more than 35 years combined experience in the industry.
Ladd Forsline is an artist and inventor. He graduated
from the prestigious MFA program at the Yale School of Art in 1988,
and went on to set up Forsline & Starr Ltd, the company behind
such inventions as Colour Shaper® and OilBar®. These products,
which were revolutionary at the time of launch, have now become
standard tools & materials for artists and crafters.
Bernadette Ward has spent her career working internationally
as a marketing and business development professional across a number
of markets including cosmetics and fast moving consumer goods; and
for a large part of her career she has been involved in the art
and design supplies industry. Bernadette is an international business
graduate of the National University of Ireland (Galway).
